While not a crazy high overall, the pleasant and not-sleepy anxiety relief of this strain puts it in a particular category that is not always overly represented…
This is a great cultivation of a fantastic strain. I really enjoyed the aroma, flavor, and high of this one, with no complaints. I didn’t have to qualify anything with “this may sound bad, but trust me it isn’t” or “I wish it had just had blah or didn’t have other blah.” For a social daytime or earlier evening high, this should be a top choice. It is for me. Enjoy!
The high was excellent. I felt lightly energized, which supported an uplifting focus and balance in the brain, and offset the light calmness in the body.
As is usually the case, I very much recommend this strain, as I tend to avoid reviews for things I dislike. As a first review for a Paul’s Boutique cultivation, I’m happy it was a lesser-known strain.
This is a great high for cleaning or other chores, for tackling a project you want to do but maybe were dissuaded by the scope of it, for making yourself get back to your blog that you love but that you’d taken a few weeks off from writing.
Pink Marshmallow is one of my top strains right now. I’ve been recommending it for weeks now, and while I feel like I’m shortchanging it by not having a long story, I also like to think that this one really does stand on its own merits. I recommend stocking up on this one for when you’re with your loved ones this season. Or any time. Enjoy.

This strain gets me stoned. Like, can’t hide it, eyelids droopy, a little giggly, both zoned out and hyper focused at the same time, not sleepy but could sleep any time stoned.
Dutch Pie has a decently creative and thoughtful kind of high, good for either doing menial tasks while listening to a serious and deep podcast or audiobook, or relaxing while stretching those creative muscles for a project that’s a little stressful but doesn’t specifically call for a rapid pace, like doing some reorganizing in a cluttered basement, attic, or garage.
It’s sweet and green, like a juice and smoothie bar that also doubles as a plant store, located in a recently renovated but historic downtown row of shops in a cute, touristy coastal New England town.
Orange Starburst, cultivated by Grass Roots. It’s a cross of two of their other strains, Doughnut ‘n Cider (which is so seasonally appropriate for the Fall) and Turpee Slurpee (which if any strain sounded like a made-up Halloween candy, Turpee Slurpee may be it).
It was fruity, citrusy, and bright, with a touch of banana, giving it a mellow undertone of the most gentle earthiness. Two medium hits and about 5 minutes later, and I was feeling a nice, light, uplifting head high, and a pleasantly surprising body high to balance it out.
The contradictions and adaptability of the highs from Silver Kush have reminded me why it’s one of my favorite strains when I’m looking for a classic, old school, or traditional high.
Are you looking for a strain that helps you go to sleep like an adult and doesn’t leave you passing out on the couch somewhat against your will? Read on!
This flower is almost pink. Those purple leaves that a lot of strains have are so light and bright that it really pushes into fuchsia territory. They’re gorgeous. The greens are also bright, and there’s a little bit of contrast with some darker purple tones between these two lighter colors.
This week I’m dispensing with the rambling narrative, as this review is taking a different approach altogether. This time I’m comparing Roseberry Kush flower and live resin.
Following that first experience with Golden Tiger, the next time I was at work, all I wanted to do was sing its praises to my coworkers and customers. It was the strain that truly not only convinced me but demonstrated in no uncertain terms that low THC can still provide superior highs, if cultivated correctly.
Moose & Lobsta has the flavor of what I imagine the finest pipe tobacco would taste like, the kind of tobacco aristocratically puffed by the robber barons of the early 20th Century, whilst they sat in high-backed leather chairs in their home libraries, surrounded by old books and older curiosities, casually polishing their monocles, sipping unreasonably expensive cognac, and fuffing at each other about the workers they were endeavoring so hard to oppress.
It always fascinates me when a sense memory is evoked by a thing which could not have been present when the memory itself was first formed. Triangle Kush by Calendar Islands Cannabis Co. begged to do just this…
Like its namesake white wine, Albariño’s aroma evokes bright citrus fruits, with subtle herbal undertones… This was very much the kind of high that left me lucid and alert, but mellow.
Indica DominantModerate THC (18% – 22%)Flower Blue Widow is a lower THC indica, with bright green buds and a lightly frosted texture from the abundant trichomes. This particular flower was dryer to the touch, but broke apart easily and was still relatively sticky. The aroma is piney and sweet, with a very gentle earthy-sour undertone…. Continue Reading →
